placed at the top of the page) to check out what other products they have to offer. There, you can also check out how their products work and find out more about them and other prevention companies.
Gia is a great company concerned with health living, and they have four branches: Terra Gia, Aqua Gia, Nutra Gia, and Bella Gia, but today, I am only focusing on the first. The branch Terra Gia has to do with a healthy Earth, focusing in on EMR prevention. They offer several products to reduce EMR exposure, such as the GIAlife Pendant, and the Cell Guard.
GIAlife Pendant
The GIAlife Pendant is a small pendant one wears around the neck or keeps in a pocket, which prevents unnecessary exposure to EMR. One of the major external stressors in our environment is Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs). The GIAlife Pendant employs the proprietary ERT™ technology to provide you with a bio energetic resource to deal with debilitating stress. The GIAlife Pendant is a great way to protect you from all types of EMFs, and specifically from EMR.
Cell Guard
The Cell Guard is a small, stick-on protection device that you stick to your cellphone. One placed on your cellphone, it catches EMR in your NFI range, to protect your body tissue from absorbing most of the EMR emitted. This sticker can be placed on any type of cell phone, and is a great alternative if you do not want a full case on your smart or cellular phone.

Overall, my main point is that there are many ways to protect yourself from the harmful side effects of EMR. Even though cellphones need to emit EMR in order to work, there are many ways to protect yourself. Do you use any EMR protection products not listed above? What about the items that are listed above? Do they work for you? What's your opinion on them? Let me know by commenting below. More to come, follow me on Twitter (@em_radiation) for more frequent updates on EMR.

Very cool products. The GIA products, the Pong case may be a well addition to our society, protecting us from the harmful electromagnetic radiation. I wonder, how do these products work? Do they have a special element inside them or are they created differently? Also, are there any other ways to limit your intake of electromagnetic radiation, or are these the only protection up to now? Looking forward to more of your posts, really interesting and detailed!
ReplyDeleteInteresting post. What research has been done to support their claims?
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot. There has been various research projects/studies supporting the logistics of the Pong case, which claims to reduce the cellphone electromagnetic radiation emissions by at least 95% below the FCC limit. This research is backed by various user-experience testimonies, as well as some tests done by various labs and magazines. For example, take Wired Magazine. They did various tests on the Pong case and proved that it reduces EMR emissions while keeping your signal strength the same (link to their Pong article: http://bit.ly/1OM3fu). As well, CETECOM and RF Exposure Labe perform regulatory services required before release to the US, Canada, and European Union Markets, and they conducted tests on the Pong case proving that it was capable of completing it's set function. As for the GIAlife pendant and stickers, I am not sure of their research for their products, since they did not publish certification on their website; however I know for a fact that members of my family use this device and it provides excellent results. They did; however, show their consumer survey results on their website, but I'm not 100% sure that they conducted this test without any form of bias included. Thanks for reading, if you have any more questions, feel free to comment or reply. Stay tuned for future posts.
DeleteI would be very cautious in supporting or advertising any product sold by Gia Wellness. The main page of the site has this warning at the bottom:
ReplyDelete*Statements made about any products referenced on this website, and/or in any GIA Wellness presentation(s) or literature have not been evaluated by any governmental agencies. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, mitigate, cure or prevent any disease. Any testimonials given reflect the actual experience of each individual, are anecdotal only, and may be atypical.
I would strongly encourage you to read this article (http://theness.com/neurologicablog/index.php/more-emf-hysteria/) from an excellent medical science blog Neurologica. It discusses the current findings on EMF in great detail.
Which is typically on any product that does not do what it says it does and therefore can not be scientifically tested.
The pendants (in my limited knowledge of the science of radio frequencies) could not work as they have no storage device for storing the radiation. As well the radiation is (presumably) coming from the cell phone directly into your brain. I'm unsure how a pendant around your neck will pull that radiation downwards. Other radiation (i.e. wifi signals) is bombarding your entire body, so for the device to work it would have to encapsulate your entire body.
You are right; however, I wrote this post for the sole purpose of recommending and helping members of society, my intentions were to aid, not advertise. As well, I recommended these products because I know from user experience and various studies conducted from the companies; it doesn't change the product authenticity if it is approved by the government or not: it's still a functioning product.
ReplyDeleteAs for the Pong case, it has been investigated and tested for doing exactly it's set purpose, both by Wired Magazine (see link of their Pong article: http://bit.ly/1OM3fu), and by various companies which approve the cellphones that are introduced in the USA, Canada, and Europe, and came out with positive results. The research shown on the Pong page is authentic, and I see no apparent reason not to trust the product, since it has been featured in many places and deemed good, including at this year's CES in Vegas.
Thanks for the article recommendation; I enjoyed reading it very much. I am interested in EMF in a school setting, since the younger generation is mainly the one getting impacted, due to the thin scalps and heads that younger people posses.
Overall, I am not one-hundred percent sure as to how the pendant works; Gia Wellness could be hiding this information to prevent replication, as this industry makes a lot of profit; however, I know from family members that it does work. Finally, I am blogging for the sole purpose of getting the message out, not for anything else. Thanks for reading my post, I hope you enjoyed and will tune in for future ones. If you have any further questions or comments please feel free to express them here.
